Fact-checking and human review

Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. No article is published automatically or without editorial sign-off.

Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article along with the date of the correction. Articles covering fast-moving topics (markets, prices, travel conditions) display a last-updated date so readers know how current the information is.

Ranking and recommendation methodology

For ranked or “Top 10”-style articles, we state the criteria used to select and order items. Rankings reflect editorial judgment based on those stated criteria, not paid placement.

AI-assisted content policy

AI tools may assist with research, drafting, or editing. Every published article is reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by a human editor who is accountable for its accuracy. AI is never listed as the author of record, and AI assistance does not replace editorial judgment or original analysis.

Image sourcing and usage rights

Images used on Chapter2 are original photography, licensed from stock providers, used under a Creative Commons or public-domain license with attribution where required, or used with the rights holder’s permission.
